Q) How long will construction take?

Timelines are split into lead time ( ex. ordering materials which can take weeks to months) and active construction time. A typical bathroom remodel may take 1 to 2 weeks, while whole-kitchen remodels take 6 to 12 weeks once building actually begins. 

Q) Can I live in the house during construction?

It depends on the scope of the repair. For smaller projects, contractors can set up "sanctuary zones" with plastic dust barriers to protect living spaces. However, for major structural overhauls or whole-home plumbing replacements, homeowners may want to consider temporary relocation to avoid major disruptions and safety hazards.
